About the role
Valiopt is an early-stage company focused on helping ecommerce teams automate real support work with AI. We are looking for an Account Executive who is excited to build a sales motion, not inherit one.
You will own the full sales cycle, from identifying promising accounts and reaching out cold to running discovery, demonstrating the product, and closing customers. There is no mature playbook or steady stream of inbound leads yet, so a large part of the role is creating pipeline and learning which customers, messages, and channels work.
What you’ll do
- Build and manage a pipeline from the ground up through account research, list building, referrals, communities, events, and other creative sources
- Run thoughtful cold outreach across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
- Own the full sales cycle: qualification, discovery, product demonstrations, follow-up, negotiation, and close
- Develop a deep understanding of ecommerce support teams, their workflows, and the business case for AI automation
What we’re looking for
- Experience owning a full-cycle B2B SaaS sales process, ideally with mid-market or enterprise customers
- A track record of sourcing your own opportunities rather than relying primarily on inbound leads or SDR support
- Strong cold outreach skills and the ability to earn attention with concise, relevant communication
- Comfort operating without a proven playbook, established brand, or perfectly defined sales motion
- A practical, experimental mindset: you form hypotheses, test them quickly, learn from rejection, and improve the process
- A low-ego, hands-on approach and enthusiasm for working closely with founders at an early-stage company
